We explore the historical and current dynamics in the cocoa and gold trade, colonial legacies, and the responsibilities that arise from them. Experts will examine how Ghana's efforts to process more cocoa domestically are influencing the global chocolate industry and how Switzerland acts as a significant trading partner. Additionally, the panel will address the impact of gold mining on Ghana's economy and society and a potential Swiss responsability.
